The Web Of Life

By Doc Mason

Jesus Christ, was a man,
Like you and me, He walked this land.
To speak the Truth, He took the fall.
But for our Faith, now go we all.

He talked in tongue, He talked in riddle.
He'd talk allot, He'd talk a little.
Words He spoke, are known to all
Who care to hear, a Distant Call.

Chorus: Straight and narrow a path may be,
With open mind much more we see.
Reserving judgment, understand,
The Web of Life flows on, Strand by strand.
____
Beats anything I've ever seen,
A starving mass and a war machine.
The sword of might bedfellows keep
To wage a war in the name of Peace.

So gather you all in the East,
To reap the spoils of the Beast.
Might makes right a destiny?
To leave the poor, with only their need.

Chorus: Straight and narrow a path might be,
With open heart much more we see.
Reserving judgment, understand,
The Web of Life flows on, Strand by strand.
____
You may believe in nothing more,
Than counting wealth or keeping score.
Living from your heart you find,
There comes a Light to who once was blind.

Now hear the voice of Abraham,
Carried widely by the Wind,
Substance of each Soul within,
All Sisters, All Brothers, All Women, All Men.

Chorus: Straight and narrow a path might be,
With open eyes much more we see.
Reserving judgment, understand,
The Web of Life flows on, Strand by Strand...
